Lions Eye Donation Service Celebrates 25 Years of Saving Sight
Her Excellency the Honourable Linda Dessau AM, Governor of Victoria unveils a plaque commemorating 25 years of the Lions Eye Donation Service from 1991 to 2016.

The Lions Eye Donation Service is a joint venture between the Lions Clubs of Victoria and Southern New South Wales, the Centre for Eye Research Australia, the University of Melbourne and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital. It routinely provides corneas and sclera for transplantation and research across Victoria and Tasmania.

Past District Governor Neil Campbell, Doug Lyons and Dr Graeme Pollock
Dr Graeme Pollock has been the Director of CERA since its inception in 1991. The service has facilitated over 7500 corneal transplants from over 4600 donors since it's opening in 1991.
